Kit Selector: an interactive guide to Fujifilm's products

Buying tech can be a complicated process, especially for new customers or those switching brands. Fujifilm wanted to make the process easier for customers visiting its flagship House of Photography store in London’s Covent Garden. BRIGHT offered a simple and elegant solution, in the form of a guided user journey, via an interactive touchscreen that recommends suitable products – based on the customer answering a few simple questions.

Behind the attractive UX, the kit selector is powered by a database that makes it quick and easy to update products, ensuring it remains relevant when anything is launched or discontinued.

The brief

To create an interactive guide for the House of Photography store and app, helping customers choose which Fujifilm products are suitable for their needs, based on answering a series of questions.

What we did

From the initial spreadsheet through to the in-store installation, BRIGHT handled every aspect of this multifaceted project. We wrote content, designed and developed the UX, and even organised a photoshoot using every Fujifilm lens, so customers could easily compare.

The outcome

A popular ‘silent salesperson’ in the FUJIFILM House of Photography, thousands of visitors use the kit selector every week to help them learn more about the brand’s products. Since its launch, the selector has been updated and is now used on the company’s global website.
